Outdoor Mini Soccer

We are currently looking for one or two more individuals who are interested in being mentored through the 2024 season, and Convene for the 2025 season. Contact if interested.

Mini Soccer 2024

Registration closes at 4:00pm on April 15, 2024. ALL registrants prior to registration closure are guaranteed a roster spot. All registration fees must be paid in full by this deadline.

Late fee of $50 will apply to late registrations and late payment. Registrations will only be approved based on available space.

Southdale Mini soccer is a fun introduction to the sport of soccer for children who live in the Southdale Community Centre catchment (including Southdale, Island Lakes, Royalwood, Sage Creek and Bonavista). This program requires a significant number of volunteers to run; please consider volunteering to coach or assist when you register your child(ren). All players, coaches and spectators are expected to conduct themselves in a positive, respectful and appropriate manner. 

The season will run for 8 weeks from May 1 (weather dependent)-June 22, with the following schedule and fees.  $15 Laker fee for all registrants.

Shin guards are required for all ages, cleats are optional.

CO-ED TEAMS

* Timbits U3 (Born 2021)  Sundays 4:00-4:40pm $40

* Timbits U4 (Born 2020)  Sundays 3:00-3:40pm  $40

Timbits U5 (Born 2019)  Mondays and Wednesdays 6:00-6:45pm $62 

Timbits U6 (Born 2018)  Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00-6:45pm $62

MALE & FEMALE TEAMS

Timbits U7 (Born 2017)  Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:00-8:00pm $90

Timbits U8 (Born 2016)  Mondays and Wednesdays 7:00-8:00pm  $90

$15 Laker fee is not included in the above fees.

Coaches Needed

This program requires a significant number of volunteers to run; please consider volunteering to coach or assist when you register your child(ren). Friend requests are guaranteed for individuals who coach. No previous coaching experience is required. Convenors will provide coaching resources including drills and fun games. Jamboree

The mini-soccer jamboree will be held Sunday, June 23rd at De La Seigneurie Park for registered players and families only.  Details will be available to teams as planning progresses.


* For U3 and U4 players, it is expected that a family member will be available to work/play with the child for warm up/practice when called upon by the coaches.

Southdale continues to support the Long Term Development Program (LTDP) as outlined by the Manitoba Soccer Association (MSA).

Friend requests for children in the same year will be considered but not guaranteed.
