Convenor: Brie Hirshberg –

Registration is now open for 2024 Baseball season

Baseball in Southdale:

Southdale Community Centre is part of the Bonivital Baseball Association. Together, the association provides each player the opportunity to play baseball in a supportive and rewarding environment that emphasizes fun, enjoyment and skill development at a level that fits the player’s interest and ability.

Bonivital baseball teams may be made up of players throughout the Bonivital catchment area. Friend requests can be made at the 7U and 9U ages and all attempts will be made to honour requests.

Teams for U11 – U15 play against other Bonivital area teams which can include Dakota, Glenwood, Norberry-Glenlee, and other clubs. To ensure that teams have balanced rosters of the number of players, Southdale registered players could be transferred to other clubs. If this happens, we will try to keep all Southdale transferred players on the same team.

Depending on the number of players registered, Friend requests for 11U – 15U will be considered but not guaranteed.

The baseball season is expected to start the week of May 5th and will continue to the end of June. AAA and AA teams will be formed in mid to late April. Community club teams will be formed immediately after. Please see below for age groups and nights of play.

COACHES ARE ALWAYS NEEDED!  Please consider volunteering to assist when you register.
